I am a multidisciplinary artist living and working in Easton, Connecticut where I recently relocated with my family from Los Angeles, California. I am a mom of two and I have spent most of my life as an art instructor. I have an MFA from the University of California, San Diego.
I have two seemingly separate creative practices that often overlap. My visual art practice, and my love of designing simple, utilitarian objects. My work questions the nature of failure and often elevates humor and celebrates the oddball. I love creating humble, beautiful, and sustainable objects. Through the examination of complex relationships, self-perception, and the unspoken hierarchies of stuff -I discover new ways of expressing my lived experience through the things I make.
